Welcome

Welcome to Prince of Peace!

We are glad you could stop by.

Don't forget! Start the School Year off on the right foot!

Sunday, September 8th will be a special Sunday! We will worship outside in the chapel, kick off Fall Sunday School with games and inflatables and our church picnic will follow late worship! We will also be celebrating “Bring a Friend, Share your Faith Sunday!” Everyone will be asked to bring someone as a guest to worship on that Sunday. You have the perfect opportunity of having someone you know hear about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and what He has done.

Knowing that this website can never give you the full picture of Prince of Peace, we want to give you a glimpse of the amazing things God is doing in our people, our community, and our world. But even more than what God is doing on the outside of us; He is shaping us from within and molding our hearts to be more like Him. We pray that God will spark your interest by what you see in our website so that you’ll want to learn more about us and the God we serve.

Our purpose is to love God and others through Jesus Christ. We are a body of believers who know that no single one of us is complete without the gift of salvation from the One that makes us whole. We strive together to be more like the Savior, Jesus Christ, and to light the way for others to come to know Him. Our passion is to reach a lost and hurting world for Christ and to bring healing to the wounded hearts of those in our community. We want to reach out to you.

We are so glad you’ve taken this first step in learning about our church and invite you to come and visit with us in person. Click on the buttons toward the top of this page for more information about our church. May the Good Lord Bless you throughout your life's journey.

We like to think of summer as being a relaxing, enjoyable time. But hurts, struggles, crises, and problems don’t take a vacation. Many times our difficulties seem even worse during the summer because everyone else seems to be enjoying life while you are feeling down. If you are experiencing a difficult time—emotionally, spiritually, or relationally—you don’t have to suffer alone. Our Stephen Ministers are trained caregivers, ready to listen, care for and encourage you, pray with and for you, and provide one-to-one Christian care to help you through whatever it is that you are facing. Men are matched with male Stephen Ministers, and women are matched with female Stephen Ministers. It’s free. It’s confidential. And it will make a difference in your life!

Learn how to connect someone you know with a Stephen Minister, talk with one of our Stephen Ministry Leaders: Greg and Kristin Ulm or Pastor Haberkost.  Our Stephen Ministers are there to care!  Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8
