Welcome

Welcome to Prince of Peace!

We are glad you could stop by.

Mark your calendar for Pie, Praise and Thanksgiving on November 27 at 7pm. Our Thanksgiving Eve service will be a more casual service this year, held in the Fellowship Hall, with a focus on praise and thanks and pie! We ask that some of you bring a pie to share… please sign up in the Narthex. We can start our Thanksgiving celebration together in loving fellowship.

Ladies: It is time for your retreat!

Knowing that this website can never give you the full picture of Prince of Peace, we want to give you a glimpse of the amazing things God is doing in our people, our community, and our world. But even more than what God is doing on the outside of us; He is shaping us from within and molding our hearts to be more like Him. We pray that God will spark your interest by what you see in our website so that you’ll want to learn more about us and the God we serve.

Our purpose is to love God and others through Jesus Christ. We are a body of believers who know that no single one of us is complete without the gift of salvation from the One that makes us whole. We strive together to be more like the Savior, Jesus Christ, and to light the way for others to come to know Him. Our passion is to reach a lost and hurting world for Christ and to bring healing to the wounded hearts of those in our community. We want to reach out to you.

We are so glad you’ve taken this first step in learning about our church and invite you to come and visit with us in person. Click on the buttons toward the top of this page for more information about our church. May the Good Lord Bless you throughout your life's journey.

In John 15:12, Jesus says, “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” Loving and caring for one another is not just the pastor’s job—it’s something Jesus calls us all to do! Stephen Ministry is a ministry in which people with special gifts for caring ministry can put those gifts to use in an organized way, bringing Jesus’ love and care to those who most need it.

If you know someone who is going through a difficult time, contact one of our Stephen Leaders Greg and Kristin Ulm or Pastor.  Our Stephen Ministers are ready to provide focused, confidential, one-to-one Christian care—to help that person experience the healing power of Christ’s love.
